REACTION TRAINING

with Armored Vehicles

This course involves the following:

Live fire, hands on

The program of instruction will focus in four areas with extensive hands on practice of techniques and all live fire.

The four areas:

REACTION POINT SHOOTING SKILLS.

SURVIVAL TACTICS GUN FIGHT SITUATIONS.

RESTAURANT SITUATIONS

ARMORED VEHICLES

Before any live fire training is conducted extensive hands on clearing of weapons to be used with false ammunition to prevent accidental discharge while training.

During this course of instruction the personnel attending will be required to react under simulated attack situations with live ammunition moving with a V.I.P.

Realistic targets will be used through out this training. Night training will focus on shooting without using a light and with a light on the student. Realistic situations.

Day One: (7AM thru 11:30 PM)

• PERSONAL DEFENSE WITH OUT FIREARMS
• PROPER CLEARING OF HAND GUNS & SUPPORT WEAPONS (SHOT GUN AND SUB MACHINE GUN)
• USE OF FALSE AMMUNITION IN TRAINING OF CLEARING WEAPONS.
• DISARMING TECHNIQUES
• SEARCH TECHNIQUES
• SOUND CLOSE PROTECTION TACTICS, FORMATIONS (dry fire & live fire practice)
• REACTION SHOOTING ONE HAND POINT FIRE
• SURVIVING AN ARMED CONFRONTATION (realistic shooting situations) diagonal – rear – and frontal attacks.

Introduction to night fire

• USE OF LIGHT VS. NON USE OF LIGHTS
• A LIGHT ON THE SUBJECT (reaction to a situation where a light is aimed at you)
• TARGETS ARE HUMAN LIKE WITH DARK CLOTHING
• RECAP OF DAY ONE APROXIMATLY 10PM

Day Two: (7AM thru 10PM)

• PERSONAL DEFENSE WITH OUT FIREARMS
• REACTION TRAINING SITUATIONS RESTAURANTS (table drills, dry fire and live fire)
• VEHICLES TACTICS (inspection for explosives)
• VEHICLES SOUND EMBARK AND DISEMBARK TACTICS
• VEHICLES REACTION TO ARMED THEFT OF VEHICLE (conductor)
• ARMORED VEHICLE VS NON ARMORED VEHICLE

Day Three: (7AM till noon)

• Recap
• Ceremony of graduation
• Transportation back to Bogotá.

Use of BB guns to better refresh the shooter for live fire scenarios. THROUGH OUT THE COURSE

• Videos of actual attack situations Colombia
• Evaluation of incidents where security failed.
• Equipment recommended for close protection teams.
